Welcome to Realist-Lounge. This group focuses primarily on the study of realism. Whether it’s fantasy or referenced, we welcome all realists to join and meet other fellow artists who share a common trait in the deviantART community.
Rules
Do not submit more than 5 entries a week.

Respect others! If you don’t like a particular deviant, just block them and let it go.

Artistic nudes are welcome, but please keep all material suitable for an all-rated audience.

If you're going to submit photo manipulations, PLEASE credit your stocks. Your submission(s) will be declined without credits to the original owner.
Do not Submit to our "Daily-Deviations" folder unless your entry has won a Daily-Deviation; an automatic declination will be issued if your entry isn't DD authentic. Make sure all submissions pertain to realism. If you're not sure what a Daily-Deviation is, refer to the help section, "What is a Daily Deviation?" --->
[link]Frequently asked questions"I can't submit my art to the featured section! Why is that?"This is closed to the general public. We will personally select work that we feel belongs in the spotlight.
"My work was declined! How can I get accepted?"Make sure none of your submissions are explicit towards other deviants. This means no extreme gore, racial, or sexual-based themes. Anything to graphical will be automatically declined and the deviant is issued a warning. If the problem persists, we will ban he or she from the group. Also, submissions must be clear...if a deviation is too blurry, we won't accept it. Make sure your entry is clear enough for the audience to view.
"How come we can't submit more than 5 entries a week?"We set this rule to lessen spam from intruding our galleries. As some artists draw fast, we just can't accept tons of work at once. It wouldn't be fair to our watchers and it wouldn't be fair to our staff to review possibly 20 deviations from one given artist.
How to help the group improveWe're always looking for ways to improve our status! If you want to help the group, check out some of the following ideas.

Look for groups that seem deviant-friendly that would likely affiliate with us. The best form of advertisement is affiliating with people who share a common goal; friendship.

Help us by mentioning our group to your followers. Even though our group focuses purely on realism, anyone is allowed to join and participate.

Nominate! If you find a deviation which seems inspiring, note us a thumbnail and we'll include it in our gallery (that is, if the artist lets us feature it).
